HAPPY EASTER

Some sources suggests that the word 'Easter' has it origin from 2 old pagan Festivals....yes Pagan! I know...I know its sounds unorthodox but just keep reading because I am going somewhere.

So.... 2 old pagan festivals; the old European pagan festival and Arabian Sun festival. The first one particularly had to do with new life.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the message was so powerful that the early Christians could debunked these festivals and made it that of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

How significant can the story of a man be. Him stepping down from His Royal throne, taking off His great crown and leaving behind His opulence to subject Himself, even unto death, that mankind might be reconciled back to the source of life. No wander it overshadowed the the other festivals.

Today the world wants to commercialised the message and remove the true meaning...they can but try! The message has transformed lives, marriages, businesses, societies, communities, and nations. The message has been for 1000s of years and still has the power and passion it did at the inception. This is just to tell you that the message is here to stay.

This Easter period I admonish us to focus on the true message by our thoughts, words and actions.
